Meet the Artist
Rachel T. Allen
Rachel Allen is an artist who loves and hopes to inspire and uplift people through her work. Especially to encourage people in how precious they are in God’s sight. Knowing our identity in Christ, that we are valued, loved and accepted, can free people to accept themselves. Understanding their uniqueness and then free from comparing to others. No one is a mistake, no matter how many mistakes are made.
Celebrating individuals in their character/story through portraits, whether of people or pets, to painting a Trompe L’oeil or a mural, creating a welcoming environment.
Drawing and creating from childhood and later graduated from Art colleges such as The Royal Berkshire College of Art & Design in Reading and Cumbria College of Art & Design in Carlisle.
She was taught how to paint Trompe L’oeil by the amazingly gifted Artist Janet Shearer in her studio in Cornwall. Amongst Rachel’s work are several murals and Trompe L’oeils throughout various children’s and recovery wards at The Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading.
Now she is based in the Staffordshire, in the Heart of England.
